A tune I had been after for years (25!) before a kind soul on Discogs ID'd this for me. This is all about Masochist Trip for me - the title is a little misleading as it's a decent little roller with a catchy bleep sound and a nice beat. Battered by the London pirate stations in 1990. Brought to my attention by DJ Swan E from Luton's Pressure FM. Not that well known so you can place this in an old skool set for something decent rather than Strings Of Life or Playing With Knives! One for those in the know...

Think this is one of the thinnest pressings I have; when I first got it I could never resist using it as a wobble board for a few whuup whuup sound effects before placing it on the turntable. I'm unsure whether the lack of thickness for this record is on account of those at Atmosphere Records being particularly tight-fisted when they got this pressed or whether the pressing plant was running low on the vinyl pellets that day...

For now, Resurgan is the main track on this ever since I first heard it back in the day on the radio; once I've dug this out and re-listened to it, I'll review the tracks properly but for now, this is mainly a musing about how thin this pressing is!
