You like music in the background while you're doing something else? Or in your car? Or in a club? Ths album 's not for you.
You love listening to subtle music in the dark, with everything silent around you and while concentrating only on the sounds? Then you just have to own this record.
In the right conditions, it can be immensely rewarding and a true listening experience. Incerdibly clever Ethnic samples, industrial noises, sweet strings that were never meant to work together, but do. Like all the samples were designed to be given life on a Richard H Kirk record. Perfect.
This record is like great wines : subtle, refined, non-obvious, for "connaisseurs" only, and most of all it betters with time.
Quite frankly, some of the best music ever made can be found here. But a very small number of people will give it a chance to realize that.

Great album. Perhaps initially awkward, but, in the right mood, I find myself drawn in and absorbed by the geometrical patterns, fine bass and perfect samples. On more than one occasion, the number of magic. One of my favs.

Ex-Cabaret Voltaire-keyboardist plays around with industrial house and funk loops. this cd has its moments, but the tracks are too long and sometimes boring and not always so good and rhythmic as they could be.
