Criminally underrated release.
What do we have here is 2 extremely well worked tunes.
These 2 tunes made on the peak of this style and refined the happy hardcore sound.

In my opinion, this release is quite an underrated Happy Breakbeat affair; 2 very well produced cuts, nothing too out the ordinary but with a very uplifting yet not obviously cheesy feel; I have especially, quite a fondness for "Get A Life" which uses vocals from what I suspect was an old House tune (not entirely sure what the overall vocals say) "you need to get a life.." at the start it seems and then something else....followed by a plethora of wild sounds, pianos and a decent riff in the mid-section....plus some comedy sampling at the end provided by the boys from "Bottom" (!)..."oh Richie...Richhhhhhie". Amusing!

The main track is also really good with choppier breaks and a heavenly piano with what sound like almost gospelly vocals....hence I guess the "angels". Plus a really cool mid-section breakdown with some dramatic metallic sounds leading in to a charged synth segment...then back to the main piano...excellent vibe from both efforts!

Really enjoyable release on the Remix label, not as widely played and well worth dropping in retro Happy Breakbeat sets....would have enjoyed hearing this one played out. Very overlooked - both tunes!
