Theo Parrish's dub here is a masterpiece of gritty post-disco madness. Heard Kenny Larkin play this with double copies on Transmissions radio way WAY back in the stone age of the information superhighway (1997). He used two copies and bounced everything back and forth for a few minutes...the loopiness of it drove me insane at first but the track is so discordant and pungent, so unforgettably intense, I began to look forward to that part of the recording (which I would love to find by the way---it has an unreleased mix of "The Jungle" on there which is incredibly good). Caroline Crawford's voice is powerful to begin with but ...wow! Absolutely genius sampling, vocal balanced by dreamy electric piano keys. One of my favorite Theo tracks.

On the KDJ 8 release, Ricky's groove mix is just beyond the acceptable 'purpose' level on the rough crunch quality front & plays havoc with most systems lower end spectrum, especially the kicks. Shame, as all 3 versions are great compositions...
