One of my favourite British rock albums of the 90s. Guitars are massive on this LP. Warm and loud. Andy's solos are tasty and memorable. Gets better every time I hear it. It just wasn't what critics, and Ride fans expected at the time.

I never rated this album at the time of its release and it got pretty mixed reviews. However, listening to it now It has aged incredibly well. Check it out again. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

If you can successfully ignore roughly 50% of Andy Bell's lyrics, this album isn't nearly as bad as the reviews it received upon its release would have you believe.
