Despite the off-putting cheesecake photo and lame design on the cover, this is a mostly compelling and entertaining listen. Most tunes are tightly wound, melodic technopop with a Kraftwerkische twist. The album is on the short side, and the eight songs seem to come and go quickly. My immediate impulse was to spin it again. Görl's vocals aren't especially strong, but his deep Deutsche croon actually suits the material well. Add a few soulful backup and lead vocals from Annie Lennox, and you've got an underrated and pleasantly surprising mini LP. If you enjoy DAF and the synthpop of this era, this release is worth looking into.
