This release has a proper structure. The record includes three different versions of Blondes & Brunettes, which can be played in various situations. A1 is original club version in traditional Tyrell’s style – bass and drums work infallibly completely filling surrounding space. A2 is the most interesting version and it’s good in bar or on a small dance floor, electric bass and audience’s voices sound here as wonderful as on old good house records. And finally B side with sophisticated old-school version from the label’s owner Stevie Kotey can be used in studio mixes. It’s unexpected and one of the best releases of this label in 2010.
