Rolling Stones* ‎– More Hot Rocks (Big Hits & Fazed Cookies)

Released several months after Hot Rocks, this is that conservative collection's eccentric complement — and more. Even the most familiar songs ("The Last Time," "Lady Jane," "She's a Rainbow") have odd twists, and a few head to wonderful whimsy ("Dandelion") or into the ozone ("2000 Light Years From Home"). But even better, this album brought the first American releases of eight rarities, including offbeat psychedelic nuggets "We Love You" and "Child of the Moon," Allen Toussaint's "Fortune Teller" (without the crowd noises added to make it seem like a concert recording on "Got Live If You Want It"), Chuck Berry's "Bye Bye Johnny," and Muddy Waters' "I Can't Be Satisfied."

Great music. My copy only sounds fair. I have this in SACD and it sounds better.

I love these original Stones songs. I wish they would give this record the same treatment they gave their early records that they issued with their MONO box.

Release date obviously wrong given presence of a barcode on the J card.

Disc 2 matrix for this listing is incorrect. Cannot be 1986 and be DISCTRONICS USA - that disc would put it after 1990 - Disctronics USA

This is a complete release in itself for folks who aren't big Stones fans. A REALLY big record for Brian Jones fans like me. I like this and Satanic Majesties the most and need no other Stones albums really. N

Based on the CR 10/81 in the dead wax, can we assume this was released in late 1981 or early 1982?

Any opinions on the SQ of this digitally-remastered vinyl? Just got this for fairly cheap.

This is the CD Version with the same Version Number as the SACD release.
