I personally think this is Roots Manuva best L.P to date . Just a solid Album from start to finish . And conscious with it's teachings . I all ready had the C.D original brought when it first came out now I finely have the L.P Vinyl . My U.K Hip Hop L.P of the year 1999 . Bless Up Roots Manuva . Peace G Beats .

Not sure who coined the term British Hip-Hop, and why they don't use English Hip-Hop instead, but what I like about this is that it isn't trying to sound American, and that the theme is unmistakably English. There's some decent tunes on here, "Strange Behaviour" is the most abiding tune, I also like "Movements", "Inna", "Fever" and "Motion 5000", but, whilst the lyrics are clever, conscious and witty, most of the other songs are fairly forgetful. However, if you interested in "British" hip-hop, then this is a must have.

awesome, the best british hip hop i`ve heard, he may not be the tightest rapper in the world, but he`s got a great message and would be a great poet. the way he plays himself down adds to the character, and the lack of swearing and americanisms highlight the areas in which british hip hop has been failing in for so long. some of the music behind is not upto the same high standard, but tracks like juggle tings proper and clockwork are rockin, as for the rendition of motion 5000, thats a true masterpiece. a shining light for british hip hop, shame he blew with the second album.
