Now then. Interesting release we have here - I can never decide if that's in a good way tho.

I picked this up from Juno on impulse in mid 2007. Originally intending to use the breaks mix in my much favoured nu skool sets of the time, I ended up using the dubstep flip on my first few late night dub shows.

I used both sides sparingly because i didn't feel either was anywhere near the standard of the original. If you're going to remix big tunes, your take of it has to be extra large. I was 50/50.

Fast forward to more recent times. I've been using the dubstep revamp more+more. Maybe I underestimated it in the early days - too harsh perhaps. If it wasn't (or i didn't know) that it was a rework what would i make of it?

I'd think it was dark+nasty+very much up my dubstep street. Every1 likes a bit of filth+this tune delivers. Maybe not the most melodic thing you've ever heard but 1 thing is sure - it's heavy+that certainly is in a good way.

The breaks version is now out of use. I thought at one time it was dope but, alas, it isn't+I'm not at all underestimating this time ;)

I would like to find out more about the actual release itself tho. The info here on discogs is as minimal as my knowledge of it's origin+artist. Let us know if you hear anything :)
