I guess most people will know Roy Hamilton as an eminent balladeer of the 50s (with signature tunes like "Hurt", "You'll Never Walk Alone" and "Unchained Melody"), and that's what we get to hear on the b-side of this release: a beautifully sung big ballad with heavy orchestraton and choir backing.
"Crazy Feelin'" however reveals a lighter side of Roy: uptempo R&B with ultra-catchy backing by Jesse Stone's band, who had played before on Hamilton's hit record "Don't Let Go". Smooth voiced yet rocking. It's easy to hear why this guy was one of Elvis Presley's great idols.
