How do you return to the studio for that all important sophomore album when you're (probably) the most successful drag queen of all time? Mix up the first single as follows:

Take the playful vanity of Khia's "My Neck, My Back," the well-earned self-confidence of Bernadette Cooper's "I Look Good," toss in a sample of the intro from (The Artist Formerly Known As) Prince's "Shy" from "The Gold Experience" … let simmer until "Red Hot" and voila: not only have you got a comeback song, you've got an anthemic yet understated, funky little reminder that RuPaul can out-vamp, out-sass and out-class almost any wannabe dance diva out there - man or woman.

As far as the mixes go, the Gomi mixes aren't bad but they're just 'accessories' - they add a different 'look' to the song but when it comes down to it, the best versions are the original (High Heel Steppin') mixes. After all, when you're the Supermodel Of The World you don't need touching up... you're always looking good and feeling gorgeous. Touché.
