For years this album was so doggone hard to find, it drive me absolutely crazy!!!!! With that said, the first album by Rufus was rough, I mean very rough. The slick soul (or sophisticated-funk), along with Tony Maden and Bobby Waton would come later, but right here is where the group wrapped their homely ruff edged grooves around the sultry but powerful vocals of Ms. Chaka Khan. It's not a complete effort, but you can tell that group was on their way!!!!!!
