Just a note/review of the Remixed version - basically this (more or less) fixes the hot mastering problem. The tradeoff is it IS a different mix - in many cases for the better IMO but it should be noted that it IS different (such as missing guitar solos now included here and there). A couple of the songs (Peaceable Kingdom) suffer to a certain degree, again IMO. It still doesn't sound as good as (say) Power Windows but it makes the album listenable instead of a complete brick wall - night and day difference.

I personally think the Remixed version is excellent and well worth it, while wishing it was more faithful to the original mix in places.

Does anybody know if the vinyl version is mastered differently to the CD? All the more reason to buy the LP if it isn't horrendously clipped.

I have a question: Does anyone know how many vinyl copies of this LP were pressed?
