Although this may have sounded incredibly abstract upon release (especially in comparison to his prior works), these truly alien soundscapes have only gained power over time. Interesting information about Lagowski's compositional process here:

No melodies, no music. This should be played on high volume to experience full joy! Does not work on (my) headphones.

This is the type of album that I should have listened to before purchasing it, but I didn't ... Nice concept, nice artwork, nice explanations on Touch/Ash International website but I need more. Musically I have never felt connected to this release. It's experimental - something I like - but there is no single degree of satisfaction while listening to it. The quality of sound, as well as the specific sounds used, are amazing as Lagowski is a wizzard, but it lacks a story. There is no added-value (for me) and the 'total' seems unfinished. I gave away this cd to a friend (who's also making music) and told him it's a great source for sampling. A better decision than selling it right? Perhaps one should smoke POD to dig this cd ;)
