S.P.K. (Suddenly Painful Krapp) - When one of the greatest ever industrial bands became synth pop fairy floss started right here. Even worse they pretended it's still industrial musik with its "metal & machine" references. I'm glad some people enjoy it, but for me it's a travesty. I'd rather (try) listen to all 4 sides of Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music than this...

This is such a bizarre album considering the performers behind it. But honestly it's one of my favorite synthpop albums of all time. It's got so much pizzazz! Love it. My favorite track is High Anxiety.

An insult to those of us who loved the 12". This is not postpunk/industrial. This is LOUNGE music, yes, that's right, MUZAK, so beware! When an artist seeks such a total new direction and revamping of their sound, they should do so under a new moniker or face exactly these accusations: to con their own fans and soil their own brand in the interest of making money. SPK= a band name not to be trusted? Check.
