S>Range – wrestled, reconfigured and remixed!

With his creative outlet S>Range, Anthony Sillfors was one of Sweden’s leading exports in the years following the millennium… His two albums 2001 and Space were both critically acclaimed and he sold out gigs all over the world… Furthermore he has released a bunch of 12-inches and loads of compilation tracks… It’s been a while since I’ve heard new stuff from the D.O.S. Mission Control Studios though – but that’s all about to change now… The Remixes are here!

These mixes and remixes are based on the Another Theory album due for release later in 2006 on Liquid Records… Let’s take a closer look at the tracks on the CD maxi…

With this EP we get a mouth-watering taste of what to expect on the upcoming S>Range album. The best tracks of the album have been wrestled, configured and tweaked… That leaves us with a bunch of remixes and remakes ranging from deep, sweaty progressive trance to uplifting, joyous morning tunes + of course a downbeat track to dull the senses… A couple of Anthony’s own remakes don’t exactly rub me the right way, but I still think that both of these released deliver the ever sought-after value for money…

Both the CDM and the vinyl have exclusive content and the CDM definitely wins that little internal battle - based purely on the ‘Back Up Mix’ which is a really winner! Recommended to S>Range fans and to fans of progressive/morning crossover trance… Enjoy!
