When people ask me what my favourit rock-band is or which rock-band is the best live-act ever they get a little confused when I mention Santana along with acts like Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Funkadelic or My Morning Jacket. When todays youth hear the name Santana, they think of co-operations with stinky money-hunters like Wyclef Jean and Sean Paul. Yes, that is the same guy I'm talking about, with one big difference. In the late 60's and early 70's, the so called Woodstock-era, Santana was perhaps the coolest band on earth. Their blend of wild latino-rhythms with flipped out guitar-and organ-solos was so unique and soooo good.
Have you seen the famous Woodstock-film with concerts from legendary acts like Jimi Hendrix, Creedens Clearwater Revival and Janis Joplin? Three great live-concerts, but honestly, none of their shows can compare to Santanas! So much pure energy, you have to see it!

Anyways, this is the best album from Santanas golden years, including classics like 'Oye como va', "Black magic woman' and 'Incident at Neshabur'. It is far from the magical live-shows, but it is still one h*ll of an album. Get it!
