Kind of a bizarre effort from a band that can do so much better than rehashing old rock songs. Riders on the storm is supposed to feature singer Chester Bennigton from Linkin Park yet the vocalist on the track sounds like a transgender person-as in a male to female transexual-which I think doesn't add to the effectiveness of the track: instead it makes it sound like the only reason its there is to 'cause a stir' amongst rock fans who don't want to be bothered with the whole transgender thing. Chris Cornell of Soundgarden sings on a strange version of Zepp's Whole Lotta Love also. I can remember reading an interview where Soundgarden were saying there is so much more than the whole Zepp/Van Halen thing and there Chris Cornell is doing a Zepp cover. That's a good workout for a High School aged band but its kind of amateurish to hear Santana doing it or to hear a member of Soundgarden participating in such a project. Maybe Carlos was feeling that he's 'getting old' and wanted to show that he can still 'cut the mustard.' I don't feel like he proved anything other than he is suffering from musical insecurity and doubting himself. Viva Santana. I don't know who these guys are.
