Notes

Recorded live at the Tivoli Theatre, Copenhagen, Denmark.

Recordings of the first time Sarah Vaughan played in Denmark: "Sarah was a little doubtful about what the reaction would be. She found out after the very first number. They loved her and she got freer and freer with each tune. That's probably the reason Sarah's so open on these performances."

Late 60s reissue of the album 'Sassy Swings The Tivoli'

I think it is so sad that there is almost no information on Kirk Stuart anywhere on the internet. The recording of Misty at the Copenhagen Tivoli is the best recording of this number ever, due in part to his vocal contribution. it is a pity Sarah Vaughan was only accompanied by the Kirk Stuart Trio for just a couple of years. The complete version of the concert ( thirty-two numbers) made a great double cd released in 1987.
