I was playing the white-label of this the other day. And noticed that one side of the centre labels was slightly thicker...
So I gently peeled off the label using soapy water and there was the legendary logo of Satin Storm.. This is a red version of the graphic not pink or white or orange...

Tekno is something between yellow magic orchestra and all those early proto grooves from the 90,91 - wow

Heard the track "Sweat" at some do in East London. Got totally lost (as you do/did) in the driving bassline, haunting vocals and stabbing synths. Finally tracked it down about a year later (1991) and some f&*k nicked it out me box. Great addition to any collection!.......

This Satin Storm EP is a timeless classic!!
I recently found that the track 'Can't Wait' samples the vocals from a track called 'I Can't Wait' by a group called 'Masterpiece'.

The B-side of the vinyl contains an acapella of the track, written and sung by Lynn Fidemont.

I picked this up on white label back in the early 90s labelled "Reel To Reel - Satin Storm", I bought it from a small stand at Camden market and I had no idea about the tunes on the vinyl but the gamble was worth it! 6 excellent tracks which for me defined the music of the that era.
The stand out tune for me was "Can't Wait", with the excellent vocal and bouncy beat that would always put a smile on my face every time I played it. With Dee-Lite samples and "Can't Wait Another Minute" chorus, a sure winner back in the day!
Until recently (2006) I've never really listened to all the tunes on the EP, and although a little dated there's no denying that this is an excellent EP from back in the day.
