thirty one years after Scattered Order appeared for the first time on record, this sydney based musical outlet keeps on releasing song after song without getting tired. in fact, they are more prolific as of lately than they have been the previous decade. not in every case does this fact provide certainty over high quality standards but mind you, this is not any one group – this is Scattered Order in 2011. and “a solar rush towards a treble heaven” reflects this fact in an impressive manner; it sounds distinctively like Scattered Order, yet are the songs performed in a timely fashion and show clear signs of advancement from release to release. in other words: their latetst album is surprisingly light in it’s overall feel but nonetheless does it come up with all those deep sound walls, rhythmic loops and repeating sound patterns which make Scattered Order so unique. however labeled, this band persists being good at breaking musical constraints and hopefully carries on doing so for quite a while. the personnel, though, seems to be quite enjoying it. have a taste yourself and get carried away by their multi-layered blend of soundscapes.
