For Scientific American's debut, STRONG FOR THE FUTURE, it all starts with the harp-laced delicacy of "When It Was Ever Everything" before the abstracted vocals on the title track grace an icy IDM track, while the indie vocals on "Drift in Place" sounds almost like a glitchy version of The Postal Service. "Between Urban Movements" sets the hip-hop vibe more firmly, with plenty of blippery, while "The Seas Are The Skies" is more serene and atmospheric. The final track, "We All Are Already Are" is a call-back to the opener, giving a sense of completion to the album. It's disappointing that we've heard very little from this artist since.
