Thank you Secret Records but mine is clear vinyl, bought it last month in Nijmegen in Holland.
The score is great, dramatic strings, sinister sounds etc. But that is already a few years going on with Scott, listen to Bish Bosch or the Drift.
The sound is great too, very dynamic

I had my hopes very high when I read this on Boomkat: "It’s all too rare that we’re totally wowed by movie soundtracks nowadays - Mica Levi’s Under The Skin being the most recent, memorable example - but we can safely add The Childhood of a Leader to that small, sacred pile of works which operate perfectly well when separated from their visual analog.."
Unfortunately it's only the first track, "Opening" that delivers. The rest of the album is more or less so and so.
Far from Mica Levi’s outstanding music from Under The Skin, doesn't really deserve a comparison.
At least the clear wax version is noiseless.

Buyer beware, I work at a record store and the vinyl copies we got in have the "limited edition clear vinyl" hype sticker on them but all seem to have black vinyl inside. I'm guessing the clear copies were through the label and all store copies are black.

Is anyone else's copy warped? Mine has some pretty bad warping. Seems to sound okay still but it is a shame.
