My rating comes from the cleanness of this pressing. Zero noise. Nice bottom. Clean highs.

The case could be made that SCREAM were Bad Brains jr., but they also bring in a melodic anthemic Clash influence perhaps & also a 70's classic rock thing. Banging the Drum goes even further into mystical hard rock (think THE CULT's Love) & pop without losing the excitement of their more hardcore material. This is a unique record & a unique time for music where hardcore & punk bands started 'expanding their sound', which inevitably bummed people out. I for one love these more adventurous records. Even when they fail, it's at least interesting.
