Planetary Funk Alert gets the plaudits on this release, for obvious reasons, but Camouflage is an imperious track in Seba's back catalogue which continues to reveal itself over time.

You could talk about the gradual layering of breakbeats which turn a foot-tapping stepper into a rolling juggernaut; the soothing arpeggios that frame the track from start to finish; the sweeping pads and electric stabs; the booming subs.

This is beautifully crafted, deep dance music, showcased at no better time than in LTJ Bukem's first Progression Sessions mix. As the penultimate track in the sequence it follows on from Artemis' poignant 'Inner Worlds' and takes the mix one final step into darker, more driving territory before emerging for air with Bukem's own 'Orchestral Jam'. A masterful track employed at the perfect moment.

One of the finest breakdowns in drum and bass. PFA is truly beatuiful. Seba has a way with melody and drum programing, that few others are able to combine, or to such effect.

One of the greatest 12"'s I own.
Both sides are true works of art.

First Planetary Funk Alert is the sort of tune that you remember when and where you first heard it, was pretty life changing in a musical sense for me.
Crisp 2 step beats roll out as the track builds up to the most masterful and beautiful breakdown I have heard in any Drum & Bass tune past and present.
Rhodes keys play and then the (double) bass line hits which is probably the height of the tune, at this point the drums havent even returned yet.
Words cant purvey how nice this tune is, I can only recommend you listen to it.

The flip side is a bit heavier with an excellent forever thickening layer of breakbeats, the tune evolves and progresses throughout and still maintains the Good Looking vibes.

2 of Seba's best tunes on one plate here.

Ever since his first release on Good Looking Records.. Seba has kept on bringing one of the most unique sounds in worldwide drum and bass. Everytime I play this record, this track has always grabbed a hold of the beautiful vibe in any place. This for sure if one of my personal favorites, and should be a great addition to anyone who can dig this kind of music. Nice snares and percussion sweep you along while the bass lines full of funk and keys that sound like a 70's ice cream dream, keep you moving and the funk alive.
