In my opinion. So many fantastic records were released on this label during the years 1988 to 1991, it's quite remarkable thinking back. There was something definitely special in the water many of these producers were drinking.

White Light is a fantastic techno track. Brilliant. But both sides are absolute corkers. That Roland TR-808 'Egyptian Lover' Electro breakdown is magnificent. I do get excited when producers implement old electro tracks in their productions. I certainly did back then as it surprisingly wasn't all that common. Bassline is really deep, loud, full and round. With great synth riff and lush, inspiring synth-choir. Just perfect. Great memories, nostalgia, timeless. Buzzing off me face.

Anna Lies also should never be overlooked. Darker, trippier, but still full of incessant groove.

As everybody has said below, this is an essential release for anybody who was there back in 89/90. Two epic tracks which just ooze the early UK Techno / Rave scene.

I agree with the comments below - White Light is a fantastic tune but miss the B side at your peril. Anna Lies is an infectious little number that still sounds good played out today - hidden gem. Superb release from Vinyl Solution.

imo this is one of the best early acid house/rave tunes ever made. When i first heard this , in an inebriated state , standing among hundreds of other wide eyed avant garde culture seekers, i felt something i will never forget.
This track was considered truly underground, compared to the happy piano/sample based rave that was prevalent in many parties of the time.

A classic Vinyl Solution release. "White Light" was played massively at raves up and down the UK in 1990. The deep rolling bass, breakbeat and atmospheric techno sounds were a real precursor of the drum and bass sound to come a couple of years later.
