It is indeed somewhat more compressed than usual. However, found an interview with the mastering engineer, who's claiming to trust his ears on settling for the sound on a disc, using measurements only as an aid for not going astray in his verdict. And actually, on Tidal the outcome for this particular record sounds promising. Think I will give the album a chance on vinyl, despite the somewhat disappointing numbers.
