Anyone remember where the sample was taken from Within Reason ? "There are many phenomena the ... beyond technology and breeze..." looks like on old sci-fi movie as planet of the apes...

WITHIN REASON IS THE JAM !!!

wicked "valley of the shadows" style intro that jumps into some MAD hotpants breaks with a deadly low sub , strange reverse vocals and sci fi esque whooshes ... great great tune , predator on the flip is equally as hard hitting, with a great sample from the movie the name is taken from !

Odd that Shimon decided to make Predator the A Side, also odd that everyone played that side rather than the other. Yes, it's an okay little roller but you need to ignore this one and turn your record over. Within Reason seems like it was written 10 years later. A deceptively simple underwatery synth pulls you in initially before pummeling you against the wall with wave after wave of the lowest sub bass possible. Top this off with some stunningly crisp breakbeats,a variety of strange sci-fi whooshes and sound effects, and change the direction of the track after every bar and you have d and b perfection.

Predator can make a good contribution to any jungle mix, the atmospheric sample in the middle is the suspense theme from predator, the film, and the sample is " it was the jungle it just came out and took him" also from the film.
The other track sounds like later L. T. J. Bukem stuff probably better, an excellent track for fiddling in your room to. Also good for a mix.
Average to good atmospheric, some groundbreaking jungle sounds in the predator track, but you won't notice that breaks.
