Shinju Gumi gives up the ghost to a host of mixers on MIXING A GHOST, and the dark whirl of orchestral pieces lets you know that Zend Avesta has been haunting "Spyworm." Kid Loco, however, mellow things out for his mantra-sampling "Innerscar (Belleville Meditation Blues Mix)," and Tarwater brings a nighttime, bluesy feel to "Dust Of Dawn." Calm lives up to his name when it comes to his blissful take on "Fade to Black," while 7 Hurtz turn in a spare, moody version of "Beyond Hypothermia." Indopepsychics go even more spare on "Darkstar," turning it almost minimal, but Solex bring in the dub with "Señor Gumi." The other three tracks are taken from the original album DISSECTING A GHOST, but they show off Shinju Gumi's taste of angular, dark jazz. These mixers help bring the ghosts to life.
