A truly great 12" compilation from Sylvia Robinson's All Platinum masters. All three tracks are presented in their Stereo mixes.
Shame, Shame, Shame is with it on it's on It starts in Mono and hits you in full Stereo when Shirley says " Can't stop me now.....hear what I say" bang! great effect and unique to the 12" as for some crazy reason when it came out over 2 sides of a 7" (Note was the first generic All Platinum in the UK via Phonogram in a wonderful IEP painted silver with either a LH die-cut or a SH and company sleeve NO paper labels were printed or marketed!) It was very very mono.

This mix has depth and the vocals clear and Crisp.
(Sadly the Donnie Elbert track still has that way way too high over crisp top end, but unlike the original USA and UK 7" singles that were mono mixes, this does come out at you, just a,shame someone at the mastering desk did not re EQ and drop the top and some of the over bright reverb)
That aside and an ok version "The Bottle" best IMO is The Christians on UK Island 12" really does get to you!

A great must-have 12" with two classic floor-fillers long box life!
