How is the sound quality of this pressing, especially track A1 Still Diggin? Other reissues have very bad sound quality.

If you need to have this on vinyl - I did! - then this pressing will do the job. It doesn't matter that it's not a double vinyl - it's nice and loud and fairly clear. My copy played with one skip on side B on the first play and then played through perfectly after that. What an album!

No skips on my original US copy. Killer LP, one of the best from the 90s.

Matrix / Runout (A): MASTERDISK TD 422-828-334-1-AS-REV-DMM S P 1-1

Matrix / Runout (B): 422-828-334-1-BS-REV-DMM S P 1-1

This is a slightly different matrix.

There are some exceptionally strong LPs on the Payday label, in my opinion:
Jeru The Damaja ‎– The Sun Rises In The East
Group Home ‎– Livin' Proof
Show And A.G ‎– Goodfellas

Have I forgotten anything? O.C - Jewelz probably and DJ Premier's Reality Check Mixtape.

Sound on this release is really disappointing! The Album is great. A must have, but not this copy of it.

The version pictured is a (bootleg?) reissue. If you look at the disc and back cover, you'll see the Payday and London logos are missing. The barcode on the back cover doesn't match the catalog number. Although difficult to tell from the scans, the quality of the artwork on this issue is lower than the official releases.

Cd contains lower quality tracks than this one from Payday and London Records (the same catalog number). Audio compression cut off frequencies above 16kHz. Propably the unofficial press.

These instrumentals seem like edited sections taken from the originals, where there is no vocals. Anyone with a basic knowledge of editing could do the same thing. I was hoping they would have been the original instrumental tracks in their entirety but fail to deliver, in my humble opinion.
