I fell in love with this act since "Glider" was released. And since, The Sight Below does not disappoint. "It All Falls Apart" is another journey into the dark, cold depths of the lonely soul that craves ambient techno. Rafael Irisarri has a knack for combining the right amount of dreariness and occasional kick-drum percussion, much like the ever-esteemed Wolfgang Voigt's GAS project. Highly recommend this release plus "Glider" and the "No Place For Us EP" as well.

Interesting to note is the Joy Division cover "New Dawn Fades." I'm not sure how I would have reacted to the female vocal on this album had I not been a fan of Joy Division, but suffice it to say, it's an excellent cover - and an appropriately haunting choice.

I have to add that it is unfortunate to see that digital online purchases are actually rewarded with bonus cuts, rather than the reverse. I still bought the CD and just purchased the 1 bonus track online. Just a little venting, nothing to do with the quality of this work. The slim opening fold digipak is beautiful with excellent photography. The look & tone reminds me a bit of PSI Performer's "Art Is A Division Of Pain" releases.
