At the time, when I bought this record, I didn't have a chance to hear the original version of "jungle". It was only recently that I scored the original remix of jungle and in retrospect, I have to say that Mr. Carr did a pretty good job of updating this while keeping with the vibe of the original.

The remix of the original is a dubby amen roller, much like all of the records Digital would latter produce. It would have been easy for Digital to stick with the amen for his remix but he instead tossed it out and came up with a really weird steppy beat. I can now appreciate this Digital remix more then I did in the first place.

The flip side is a new tune by Smith Inc. and its really not very good. Infact nothing Simon Smith has released recently lives up to the standard that he set for himself back in 1992. I really wish Smith would release that Streight Otta Hell bootleg but perhaps thats a topic for another comment.
