I stumbled across this gem brand new for $15 at a nearby "hole-in-the-wall" book & vinyl store one night a few weeks back. I had just got paid and went there to finally grab "The Red In The Sky Is Ours" vinyl by At The Gates, plus I had planned to get like 3 more records to treat myself if I found things that I was really impressed with. I was so stunned when I saw this cause it was just kinda thrown in at the end of the Metal records in no particular order so I was not expecting it. Anyway I've been wanting to find any of Sinister's first 3 albums on vinyl so when I saw how cheap this was, plus how freaking awesome the artwork is on this particular picture disc, I knew I had to get it. This particular album is limited to 300 copies and another thing that's cool is that on the back side it has a printed notice that states "For Death Metal Vinyl Junkies." Which I really do enjoy. The main thing that sets this particular picture disc apart however is not the aesthetic value, even though it rates very highly to me in that regard, but rather the sound quality. I've NEVER heard a picture disc that sounded this amazing! This thing is more clear and full and bottom heavy than even any standard vinyl albums I have ever heard or owned. Every time I put this thing on I'm stunned at how good of a job they did at making this pressing. What's even more bizarre is that it's an unofficial release so I have no clue who is even responsible for making this possible. So in conclusion just do yourself a favor and buy one of these rare collectible items because there aren't too many around and just check out how utterly insane the sound quality is on this bad boy you will be shocked! Especially if like me you have been put off by the quality of picture disc vinyl because of unwanted hissing, pops and clicks you hear I can assure you that somehow this version has absolutely zero of that nonsense, plus the sound quality is so damn good that it sounds incredible even through a pair of crappy 1-inch boombox speakers. Buy one now!

Fabulous pressing! One of the best sounding picture discs I've heard.
