This special remix is absolutely awesome and prolongs the best bits of the original disco mix by highlighting the intensely catchy Sledge vocal and the bass and riff from Rodgers himself. Some of Rodgers productions have been a bit sketchy when on his own but this remix is of undeniable quality. A new tune in itself!

Sampled by Goodfellas I think in Soul Heaven.

Let's not forget the George Duke produced 'Smile' on the flip, sublime soul and an under-the-radar favourite, Buy!

Lesson one in how to take a track that isn't broke and fix it so it's even less broke. The 1979 original is a classic in itself; Nile Rodgers somehow managed to improve it here, right from the a cappella intro and throughout the 6 minutes of bliss that follow it. "We're lost in music / caught in a trap / no turnin' back..." - this is a disco(gs) anthem you simply can't live without.
