The Black/Green split limited edition and standard black LP sound identical. Both are well pressed with minimal surface noise and nice sonics. Lots of low-end rumble and clarity in the high-end. I've seen some poor reviews of this pressing but I can verify that the vastly more expensive limited edition does, at the very least, sound no better than this black edition. I'm personally happy with how both pressings sound and I'd say this standard edition is well worth picking up.

Have to say, my green Euro copy sounds like shit. Tinny symbols and bass just isn't there. Pretty crap, but I am using expensive transparent equipment. Black must be laughing...I've got 50+ year old lp's that sound better than this turd.
Just listened to my first press of Circus Leaves Town, makes this record sound like a joke in terms of bass and production.

This record was sold out of all my local shops. Good for Sleep! Audio quality is average, was expecting a little more dynamic/warm sound. A little noisy in the quietest parts (The Sciences). Packaging good. Definitely still worth picking up because this is a killer album.

Not a great pressing. Not a lot of surface noise, but that's about the only redeeming quality. Sounds fairly lifeless overall. I can't imagine any special attention was given to the mastering or cutting of the vinyl here. Better than the stuff TMR was getting from United, but still disappointing--especially for $30.

This record only has 3 NEW songs on it...the other 2 are 20 years old,w/sonic titan having been previously released as a live bonus track...the title track is a throw-away noise/intro thing that goes nowhere.the art is pretty horrible for both versions(but the arik roper rip-off is more tolerable if you have $250 to pay a flipper)my copy came straight from third man w/a defective advice?just buy the CD.

Picked up a copy of this today and got it signed by Al Cisneros who was in Austin for a show with Om. Such a great pressing.
