Picture a world where some dub djs in the 1970s were ghouls hiding out in the discoteques, some jazz players were djinns playing their horns as transients on the streets of the fillmore, and vampires became hip hop thugs to prowl the streets of modern cities while riding in their pimpedout whips; and behold ---we enter the mood of Slotek. Before mainstream corporate hiphop got obsessed with trying to appear to be in touch with the occult (as it is now), some cats really were on to it way before illuminati wannabes started flashing their pyramid signs on entertainment tonight.
