I agree, this is Deep House at it's best! An early in the evening record, or a record you would hear in the Weee morning hours at the End-Up San Francisco...Definately not a "period" piece of music, it's not to be missed by any House Collector...
Even with it's simplicity of jazz elements and a classic vocal hook, this is a sophisticated record that will evoke a feeling of nostalgia, the kind of feeling you got when you first heard House Music... just Beautiful!

Hans-Petter Lindstrøm is a genious. This is one of my favourite deep house record. I was gobsmacked when i found out this was made by a norwegian fellow.
It has basically a little bit of everything. It has a solid driving groove with a dash of jazz. On the top of that it has an amazing sweet femme vocal cut-ups. A perfect record for you Gilles Petterson fans.
