This is a bootleg of Slum Village's "Fantastic Vol. 2."

Interscope Records and copyright 1999 are printed on the vinyl labels. However, Interscope never issued "Fantastic Vol. 2" since it dropped the group before the album's release. Good Vibe then picked up the album and officially released it in 2000.

Track D4 is a remix of "Beej N Dem" from 'Fantastic Vol. 1'.

B3 - 'Forth And Back' and B4 - 'MMM...?' are actually the other way around on this release. 'MMM...?' is also aka 'Untitled/ Fantastic' and is the same version found on other official releases.

@evil-ed. I have this too, bought it when I worked at Record Time in Detroit with House Shoes. My proximity to shoes and Dilla allowed me to not only meet/know Jay Dilla for a short time, but Shoes also made sure I got all the dope Slum/Dilla vinyl when released. Confirming what you said about the pressing 100%: Bootleg, NOT the best audio quality, at all. It's quite poor actually.

I bought this album in 99-00 at Fatbeats LA. The sound quality is great. Its unofficial because they got let go from Interscope.

As far as I know this is a bootleg. This was the first vinyl release I saw emerge of the SV album in the UK prior to the Worldplay and Goodvybe pressings and was, I think, for a while the only way to own the full LP on wax. I have never seen an official version on Interscope and this has tell-tale signs of being a bootleg like the print of the labels and the type of vinyl used. This version is definitely worth having though due to the dope artwork, reminiscent of the 'Heavy Weather' LP by Weather Report. If I remember correctly this is not an amazing pressing in terms of sound quality, but some of the tracks are slightly different versions to the final, official releases.
