Absolutely correct ! I know, since I was constantly out there chasing eventual new "STEREO" releases of previous MONO titles... The Small Faces Stereo recordings will remain classics, especially because of the strict channel separations used... !

Although not stated on the *"Shocking Pink" labels both tracks are presented here in their 1ch mono mixes.

*This was the name given in-house by Oldham/Immediate. A bi-product of the UK Immedaite lilac (off Grey) and Pink labels was at the cessation of Immediate. UK Fly Records (also administered at the time by EMI) acquired the stocks of Immediate unprinted blanks and they were used up on various releases, saving vastly on printing costs and giving a few quid to the Official Receivers.

The Columbia Inc Epic Memory Lane commercial release had the turquoise and yellow labels and matching die-cut sleeves (bags) the UK Immediate logos did not appear on the labels.

A percentage of these retro releases were pressed in styrene, so light tracking is essental to preserve the grooves and keep them hiss free-er!

An absolute must for any pop-60's party music lovers, and an essential for and Juke Box and vinyl oldies DJ. Two back to back must-haves.

The big bonus of this Germany retro release as against all the many UK Immediate retro's NEMS, RCA etc etc these two tracks are presented in their vastly superior stereo mixes, something that the UK Immediate-ophiles ignored as did Columbia Inc with their Epic Memory Lane release

Both tracks were recorded and made for Stereo, Lazy Sunday being the stand-out track on "Ogdens" the album made for Stereo. For those that want these tracks in their 1ch mono mixes 99.999% of all the other vinyl 45's out there are in that "wonderful" mode.

For me, this is one of those must-have singles,+ it has that all too common missing from the UK market 1950's - 1980's 7" picture sleeve (cover).

(From looking at retro releases and new releases from 1970+ It is very clear that West Germany and to a lesser degree Holland and France were right there and on the button with Stereophonic 45's and Germany is the home to many exclusive Stereo releases of UK 1ch mono equivalents, Bell is the most obvious label.
