I have the original Gish album from Caroline records and I bought the reissue version. In comparison the reissue version is very good and true to the original version. The reissue has better bass and sounds crisp. On the original version the cymbals and guitars sound a bit more natural. Plus the sound-staging is a little better than the reissue. When price is really not a issue get the original. Otherwise get the reissue, it's about a third / half the price of the original version and really very damn good! If I had to buy Gish album, I would go for the reissue (normally I would always suggest the original. But in this case.... I wouldn't mind the reissue at all. It's a joy).
