He only released the one album but he did indeed live up to his name.

Listening to this album some 16 years or so later, it's easy too see it has stood the test of time and deserves to be in any discerning rap fans collection.

It has a certain vibe and feel to it and no doubt Run DMC greatly influence the sound of the album, it's full of classic breaks, James Brown loops and samples and Smooth Ice rides these beats effortlessly.

Smooth ice's lispy flow over classic 90's production make this an album for Old School kids to treasure and for the New School kids to check out.
