This has been my favorite recording of Snakefinger since I got a download of it many years ago. I've gotten several other soundboard recordings since then but this is still my favorite. I liked it so much I made it my goal to get it on vinyl so here they are.
When Snakefinger was trying to get a live band together he contacted Jello Biafra who immediately thought of 6025, the ex-5th member of the Dead Kennedys. They hooked up and started playing shows as "Snakefinger & Bast" or sometimes "Snakefinger & The Dead Residents". This recording captures the great early punk era of Snakefinger that is usually forgotten. Really revved up. The best sounding SF show I have heard. Cover art by Molly Harvey (The Residents) and liner notes by Miss Peggy Honeydew (The Residents), Brian Poole (Renaldo & The Loaf) and Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys).
