This is by far one of the best sounding records of my collection. I entirely rediscovered the album, and will never go back to the digital remasters that suck the life out of those tracks. Lodi Dodi sounds incredible, and I heard for the first time the reverbs on the drums in Murder was the Case.

I hope Vinyl Me are planning on pressing The Chronic !

Probably the best pressing of this you'll find other than a original issue. Great sound, sleeve is very cool as well. I found an article online from Vinyl Me Please stating this was remastered from the original tapes. For anyone interested, the omission of "Gz Up, Hoes Down" is universal after the initial release, as Death Row had to remove it due to sample clearance issues.

Sounds great. One of my favorite records of all time. VMP does the music justice with the amazing pressing.

I bought a copy of this album after my friend Jeremy played me it. It's really good!! However, if your mam is like mine and a very religious lady, you will need to hide this album away from her as all of the swearing and the unsavoury picture it paints of living in the war-torn streets of south central LA are likely to cause offence. My advice is not to hide it under your mattress though. While this may seem like the ideal place to stash an explicit album (because it is flat) I would recommend against it after what happened when mine was hidden under my mattress. My mam's toyboy Gavin had his young 3-year old son from another relationship 'Tristan' to stay for the weekend, and I was demoted to the sofa so that 'Tristan' could sleep in my bed. Needless to say, he wasn't potty-trained (and still isn't, even though he is now almost 5) and he wet the bed. This wouldn't have been so bad, but he had drunk approx. 2.5 litres of Pepsi before going to sleep, so there was A LOT of wee. Of course, my copy of Doggystyle was a sodden mess when I eventually rescued it, and to this day it still absolutely stinks of wee.

Aside from the song "Gz Up, Hoes Down" being excluded, this is a fantastic pressing. I've never heard the OG pressing, but this is damn good.

This release is now listed as "Out of Stock" on the VMP website.

Fantastic pressing off an ace mastering job. Jacket is ok but not really much of a downside considering how *good* the album sounds. Get yourself a copy of this before the price goes up.

great pressing sound is wicked and vinyl is beautiful. was pretty disappointed in the sleeve however. i almost never by sleeves that just shove 2lps in a normal size jacket and if it mentioned it was going to be like that i likely wouldnt have bought it. specifically said on the website it was a tip on gatefold. they said i could return it but just sounds too damn good.

Also of note is that this is remastered from the original analog master tapes.

Phenomenal pressing too. Loud, defined, great stereo.

I think it sounds good, but the vinyl is really flimsy. I'm not sure it could get much thinner without being non-existent.
