Lightweight vinyl but very cool black/white swirl. Vinyl is flat with no noticeable warps. Some minor surface noise which is normal for colored vinyl but nothing obtrusive. Side B has a mild ticking noise that last for less than 1 minute but it is tolerable. The volume of the music is low which offers nice sounding dynamics with thunderous bass if you have a powerful amp. No loudness war going on here as far as I can tell.

The download code still worked for me but they are low quality mp3s. The vinyl clearly has more resolution which is most apparent in the vocals.

Frankly, I think the poster and 7 inch bonus are both boring. If your copy didn't come with them, you are not missing out on much...

Overall, I am thrilled with this pressing and highly recommend it.

I bought a copy of this at my local shop. It's definitely the White And Black Swirl, but didn't include the 7" or poster. It was wrapped and appears to be new. Anyone else have this happen?

This album stands out for reinventing the post-punk/dark genre with a freash new approach. Truly recommended to all the lovers of night soundscapes!

"The voice of The Soft Moon has never been more clear and honest than it is on this record. With eerie, immersive tracks like the dogged "Far" and slow, beautifully melancholic "Wasting" (the first track written for Deeper), the album is a penetrating portrait of Vasquez as he wrestles thoughts of suicide, vulnerability and what it means to heal. By facing the most hopeless parts of himself without illusion and putting his past demons to bed, the creation of Deeper was an intense personal exploration of existence for Vasquez -- old wounds were forcibly opened, deep anger and paranoia were manipulated into song -- and he did not emerge unchanged. Deeper may have delivered Vasquez back to the waking world, but it willingly drags us further into The Soft Moon's dark, euphonic universe once more."

I was supposed to see Soft Moon on my birthday in 2013 but that show was cancelled.
Finally got to experience it live last night.

Completely satisfying.
