This album is a bit easier on the ear than other works by SR - less noize, slower tempos and softer beats. Giauzar is a good entry point for new listeners, though im not sure that trying to reach out to a new audience was the intention. for people who are already fans, it can take a few listens to get into it, and there are some good replayable tracks here. 'B Boy 3000' has hip-hop influences, 'Strangulark Robot' has a retro electro style to it, and vocals I believe by someone possibly involved with Synapscape, though could be wrong. there seems to be more dance and techno influences in this album than previous ones, and the multi-genre variety style carries over to later releases.
