A DeeJay-cut to the Planets' "Love Black" as to be found here: The Planets (3) - Love Black. The producer is "B. Dennis Brown", the guy from May Pen, no relation to the "Crown Prince of Reggae".
Btw: Why is this listed under Dennis Brown? GL say entries should be made according to the factual artists/titles so IMHO this should be listed under "Sonty".

Listening to this again it sounds somewhat like a Alvin Ranglin production and somewhat like Charley Ace & The Maytones, just wondering if anyone has played the UK issue against the JA issue on Dr Bird and if in fact they are the same tunes. RKR has it as Sinty rather than Sonty and suggests that it may actually be Prince Heron. Far from convinced it is Jerry Matthias!

I have this with CA108 in the runout grooves but it is a deejay cut on the A side and a vocal cut on the b side that does not sound like Dennis Brown, anyone have any ideas?
