Storytelling might get confused you at first times and, as Juno Plus wrote, this record could sound flat because it's too interrupted. But if you see SDC live (I saw it at Dimensions, also met him, nice guy) where he plays only the music from this album you realize that this is hands-down one of the best release of the last years and those 8 songs (there 13 tracks but there are 8 true songs, the rest are music or story interludes) are just stunning.

Live is awesome as well, starts a bit slow (The Love Quadrant as first track doesn't work even if it's his best) but then gets lovable and danceable (even under the rain as happened). Technically he doesn't do much, the tracks are just identical to the album and he just links all the tracks with drum elements from the former track while he talks on it.

Oh yeah, I forgot, SDC is my favorite producer, he linked brilliantly Drexciya, sci-fi and funk all together, hard to believe it but he made it, so talented.
