Produced by Richard de Bois and written with Peter Van Asten, they are mostly known for founding and producing at that time, famous Dutch girl band The Dolly Dots. The song was composed by Spence as his other studio projects.

The guitar cut starts and fills the rhythm while the drum beat and synth effects appear. Really cool synth bass follow the rhythm guitar and it's groovy. The Synth and drums are well programmed and move fine with the beat. The vocal of Spence which freely uses the falsetto voice is strong. The girls (probably Dolly Dots members) chorus has been well put together.

The Maxi-Single version is a really nice extended edit (by Ben Liebrand apparently but not credited) from the Single version plus a better sound quality and mix. It's a shame that there is no instrumental version of Get It On but instead you have on the B side the track called Madonna who is not bad anyway.

Aired on Ferry Maat's Soul Show in fall 1983, it had quite positive ratings and even hit the Dutch Top 40 for a short period. It stick several weeks/months in The Disco Action Top 20 from the famous show.

It's a nice record and by far his best or one of his best. It's the jam!
